The WIP group is an informal collection of people. It has no president or other officers, and being on its mailing list is as close as one can get to being a member.
The group began to give Harry's students a chance to practice performing in front of others in preparation for a yearly student recital. Harry is gone, but the purpose of the group remains the same.
WIP stands for "Work in Progress". The group provides a safe and welcoming place for people to perform pieces that are works-in-progress. A perfect, polished performance is not required.
While the group consists mostly of piano players playing classical pieces, all instruments and music genres are welcome.
If this sounds like the kind of group you would like to participate in, please contact the WIP organizer to get added to the mailing list. This lets you know when and where WIP gatherings occur. Also, please read the page on attending a WIP gathering.
